AND THE VERDICT IS...............................

So I have to start from the beginning of this whole story. It's pretty funny, I wish I had the video camera handy on a couple different occations! The first one was when we actually told the kids that we were having a baby. Gracie is a baby loving fool! She LOVES babies so logically I thought that they would be super duper excited. Boy was I wrong! Hagen's first reaction was, "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh MOM!" Like I did something horribly wrong and then Gracie piped up - NOT quietly either - "I DON'T NEED NO MORE STINKIN' BROTHERS!" Well ok, thanks guys! But we don't know what it is yet! Then they perked up for a minute. After that the wait was on. Everyday they would ask, "So what is it mom, what is it?" Well we finally found out yesterday! I went to the school to get the kids since they were so excited to find out what it was that I thought they would be super excited to go to the ultrasound appointment. Well, when I got Hagen, he was right in the middle of recess so he said, "Oh just tell me what it is when you're done, I'm going to play football." OK, so I get Gracie and all the way over there she kept saying, "I know it's a girl, I know it's a girl!" So THE picture finally came up on the screen and the ultrasound feller said, "So, do you know what it is?" and I said, "HEY, IT'S A BOY!" Well, Gracie had some stuff in her hands and her face went immediately from happy to pissed off! She threw down whatever was in her hands on the floor got up off Tyle's lap and stomped out of the room. Tyle very patiently followed her out and said, "I guess we'll be back in a minute!" The ultrasound guy was like, "I take it she didn't want a brother, huh?" But WE were excited. We told Gracie she could be the one to tell Hagen and when we picked him up from school and Hagen asked a hundred times WHAT IS IT??? Gracie said in a very ticked off way and pouting all the while, "It's a freakin' BOY!"
I think we could've won $100,000 from Funniest Home Videos! Lesson for the day....always have a camera stocked and ready!
And the NEXT part of the story is....now that we know it's a boy, his name is Cope!!! Since we already have a Hagen we'll now have Cope and Hagen!!! AWESOME, HUH?!?!?! I told my mom that and she almost had a heart attack!!! COPE IT IS!!!!!!!!!

I "might" be getting the hang of this Blogging thing - thanks to Kristi!

Well, I'm a complete and utter blogging idiot! I had to take lessons from Kristi to learn how to do this crap! And......I'm still learning! Like for instance....how the heck do you ADD friends? WTF? Seriously, I need help!!! I LOVE to find blogs through a friends, sister's, neighbor's, sister-in-law's old high school friend and then go HOLY CRAP I KNOW THIS PERSON!!! My recent new blog that I have currently been spending the last 3 days now reading the absolute most hilarious stories are from Jessica Mecham (whatever her last name is now!) And seriously....I really have to go through like 6 different blog sites to get to hers, but I laugh my BUTT off at her posts! It's definitely worth all the effort it takes to get there!!!

I'm pretty sure that I'm the only one that actually reads this blog - mostly to pass the time at work when I'm totally bored- and maybe on the rare occasions that Kristi gets on here every other month or so! But seriously, it helps pass the time for me at work and I am A-O.K. with that! So, in honor of Kristi teaching me how to post a video, I decided I would post this one of Hagen when he first started roping off a horse! I couldn't believe it, he roped about 10 head right in a row by two feet. Not only am I a blogging idiot, but I also can not film that great either and it would be a great idea to press the mute button!

Oh hell!!! Never mind! I'm stickin' to the story that I'm a blogging idiot!!! It took me too dang long to try to get the video on my computer and it ain't goin'! I'll figure it out later and MAYBE post the stinkin' video! As for now....well, I better get back to work for at least a minute anyway!

GRACIE LOU AS A RODEO QUEEN

Here's my little Gracie Lou advertising for my little Jr. Rodeo for the fair last year! These are my favorite pics of her, so I thought I'd post! This was at the 4th of July parade in Delta last year. This is the one time she gets to dress up like a rodeo queen (and Oh Dear Lord, hopefully the only time she WANTS to!!! I don't know if I could handle that when she gets in high school! I think she's pretty tuff and she'll hopefully grow out of this stage!) Check out the awesome chaps Grandpa Draper made her! She gets to dress up like this and sit on the awesome saddles we give away during the Jr. Rodeo! THIS YEAR....I'm very exited that I will be about 10 months pregnant during my rodeo and am certainly hoping I don't calve DURING the rodeo!!! My due date is the next week after the rodeo! I'm taking offers now for help!!!

Hagen crossing the 5K finish line!

Snow Goose Festival:
After I saw Kristi's post about the "AWESOME" Snow Goose Festival, I decided I would post my own pic too. Hagen went early that morning with Grandma to watch Uncle Zane run the 10K. Which Uncle Zane did awesome and was like fourth. (Behind some little weenie fella in tiny shorts - we were lucky NOT to see his little weenie fella! that was apparently seriously into this running stuff!!!) Well, when they got there that morning Hagen decided what the heck, he'd run the 5K. And gosh almighty the kid ran the whole stinkin' way. Even though he got chased by a dog about half way through. He was second in the 12 and under category and got a medal and everything! Way to go Hagen! You're awesome! And you beat all those old ladies too!!! Maybe next year I won't be barfing that morning and be able to go with you! If my 8 year old can do it, I guess I can get my fat butt up and try it too!!!

MAYBE I'LL GET THE HANG OF THIS!

So, I started a blog probably 3 months ago with one lone little blog about, "How do you do this stuff?" I thought maybe I might give it another shot though. So I'll start out like this:
First is Tyle - He's a pig lovin' fool. Besides his day job at the county, he comes home and works another full days' worth of work at the farm. We have around 50 head of sows and about 100 little pig babies in the farrowing barn. So he's a busy fella. Around all that working he finds time to be an awesome dad and coach Hagen's wrestling team and take Gracie riding horses all the time. He's a great dad!

Then there's me....I currently just barf a lot lately. I'm extremely lazy and wish that I could pretty much just sleep all day long! But I work out to IPSC in the Purchasing department, which I like and it helps out a lot. I wish that I could be home with my cutie patooties but someday I'm gonna be a Dinillionaire and I will for sure get to stay home!!! We have two and half kids with the third one gracing us with 'it's' (we don't know what it is yet, but get to find next month! YEAH!) presence in the middle of August! HOLY COW shoot me dead! just kidding!

Hagen is our oldest and absolutely the most mature little 8 year old I've ever come acrossed! He is such a big help and is always helping his dad over to the farm and always watching out for his little sister. He absolutely loves to wrestle and he is pretty awesome at it too! He loves school, especially math! And he loves football, soccer, and basketball - pretty much any kind of sport there is. He is a really good little pig shower too! This is his first year he finally gets to show and he's really excited! He also loves to hang out with his friends and he is actually learning how to be quite the little roper! If I could ever figure out how to post the videos of him roping on this little blog thinger then I would. So if anyone wants to give me a How To: lesson, I'm up for suggestions!

Gracie is our youngest - for now! She is a very sweet little girl, but can be pretty mean too! She loves to show pigs and help dad at the farm. She also loves to help mom clean the house, play dress up and just stay busy! She LOVES babies, which will be great for mom because I'm sure she will be a HUGE help in a few months!!! She LOVES to ride horses and is so happy that it's starting to warm up so we can pull the horses out of pasture and start riding again! She's an awesome kid and we love to have fun!

When I figure this blogging thing out a little more, then I'll start to post some pictures of Hagen wrestling and Miss Gracie showing her little pigs!!!
